Have you looked into pet sitters in your area? Around here there are a lot of them that offer various services. When my parents are gone they have a pet sitter come to their house 3 or 4 times a day to play with their yorkie and take him potty, this seems to work the best for him. There are even some that will stay in your house while you are gone. Another option is to find someone who does pet boarding in their home. Bentley goes to a playgroup once a week and the woman also does boarding in her home. We've never had to use it yet, but probably will as the dogs are just another member of her family, not locked up in a kennel the whole time. Check out pet sitters online or in your phone book, you might be able to find something. |
