I know he gets up to "go" in the middle of the night because his pad is always peed on, and there's a pile next to it, but he must go straight back to his bed because none of his toys are ever touched. Maybe getting a tent like this one will make it more clear to him where he is supposed to go. I've been able to get him to pee on the pad, but he never does his other on it... he prefers the living room carpet for that deed. I'll have to try the tent! And it is so much more stylish than just the icky pad on the floor.

Such great and creative ideas!

okay again I am not alone!!! Now Nathan will pee on newspaper by the door but prefers to poop on the kitchen tile or hallway tile!!! does that make any sense!!!lol and he knows he is wrong cause I will say Nathannnnnnn and he looks at me and starts running!! LOL Hopefully this tent thing with the pad will work..although my ultimate dream is to have him ring the bell on the door to go outside like the Yorkie mom on this site has her little girl trained!! Sorry I don't remember her name!!! but maybe its girls being a little smarter than boys!!!???
