People often have tia's and never even know it. That doesn't mean you should ignore them, you must be evaluated and the doc will try to deternine what caused it. Sometimes it is related to blood pressure. You need to do exactly what the doc says, if he/she can determine the cause. But often they come and go with no lasting effects - you do want to stop them because they can lead to a full blown stroke.
