Hi! I had the same problem with Riley a couple of months ago. The bridge of her nose lost all its hair and her ears had lost a lot of hair and were black inside. I spoke with some people here on the forum and began treatment.

I used 1% Lotrimin twice a day. First I would clean the insides of her ears, then coat front and back with the Lotrimin. I also would apply some on her nose. The very 2nd day, some of the black came off while I was rubbing her ears (along with a bit of hair). Very soon after, the hair started growing back on her nose. Slowly the ear hair is coming back, also. It'll just take awhile for them to be as furry as they once were.

Riley's skin was never slimy, either. Just keep on the treatments!
