Yorkies LOVE us and want to be with us - I think 7 months old being confined in a small room is a GOOD reason to yelp - I don't consider being lonely RUDE....I think he's calling for you and needs attention.....Can you let him out of there ?

As far as the biting - HE IS A PUPPY - that's what they do. He'll grow out of it - replace your hands with a toy and it may help with that but holding his nose seems a little harsh.
I'm a new Yorkie owner, but this post just makes so much sense to me. My Yorkie loves to play, and it is the highlight of my day to play with him. I couldn't imagine locking him up in a room by himself. He's part of the family.
