I'm 38 and no skin kids - just my hubby and our fur babies. I think I sort of always knew that I wouldn't have kids, for some reason. I don't think having kids makes your life *finally* complete - but gosh, so many others tell us that.
I actually think it's incredibly rude that friends/relatives think it's okay to continually tell you to have kids - like you're a freak for not having them. I find it offensive and intrusive and presumptuous - and arrogant too! Phew, that felt good!
We always think that if, someday, we do want to experience being parents - there are so many kids to adopt and that would mean more to us anyway. We've both always known that we will be happy with or without kids.
