we just went to the vets clinic today and she is still 5.8 so she didn't lose any weight last week. My vet said be patient!! I feed her 1/4 cup of the perscription dry and a heaping teaspoon wet perscription twice a day. I cut down on her treats to. She is not happy with this arrangement!! She sits at my feet and barks and tries to talk my into a treat. I stopped sitting down as much so I am the one losing weight here. I will have to go to 1/8 cup maybe if she doesn't lose more. I have been taking her for a little walk everyday to maybe that will help some. |
