I can't help but post on this thread. If shipping him would get him to a better home, how can that be cruel? He's 3 years old and bonded to you, isn't it cruel what you will be doing to him? Owning a dog is a lifetime commitment. If you feel he would be better taken care of better by someone else, why would you care about the dollar amount? I don't mean to offend. But I feel sorry for a 3 year old dog, who is taken away from all he knows and thrown into the life of someone else suddenly, especially these little guys who get so attached to their owner. I'm not saying you shouldn't find a new home for him, I just feel bad for him. |
