I prefer the wire x-pens. I have one like you have pictured but it was so much harder to keep clean. Dust, feces got in the crevises. I just didn't like thinking it was dirty all the time. It is fairly easy to clean, just take it outside and hose it off, but just a pain. Also way to bulky like mentioned before.
