Check out her book - It's Me or the Dog. There was a section in it that made perfect sense. Basically wrap a doll in a blanket and get the dog used to not being able to jump up your lap when you have the bundle, gently sniff the "baby" etc.
I jut got the book from the library but I'm sure you could buy it. |
