We used to use K9 Advantix (from the vet) and it works for ticks, fleas and misquitoes. It just didn't seem to be working - course, we live in the WOODS on lots of land and have lots of wildlife.

The vet recommended Frontline Plus - it is more expensive, but it doesn't work against misquitoes. We just started using it.

I would love to try all natural ways, but time and finding everything can be so time consuming and hard to find!

I have been told by numerous people (friends/relatives) who have used the store bought brands and they have all said they don't work...I don't know though, I have never tried them.
