I too got a grooming table for about $40 on ebay. As for tools, you will need a good set of clippers, a good pair of shears and what I think is the most important thing.....a good set of thinning shears. Shears can be pricey, but if they are kept sharpened and clean they will last and are well worth it. I also have some whal peanut clippers to do the sanitary parts (bum, ears and eyes) and brushes and combs of course.

I also highly recommend this book (I bought mine from Amazon):

How to Groom a Yorkshire Terrier Perfectly: A Step by Step Illustrated Guide for Grooming Your Yorkshire Terrier By: Tammy Sprinkle

It will tell you all sorts of good stuff!

i ordered that about a month and a half ago! still waiting for it to come in.. i don't think i'll order from Amazon.com again but i'm really looking forward to all the helpful hints! i hope it makes the job MUCH easier! glad to hear you liked it!
