Yes, he was out of the create but in the kitchen in the am between
6-8. He cried while I got ready for work, was stressful but I had to keep
him confined. I let him have free roam at night after his 5:30 and kept a watchful eye, when I would see him circle I ran grabbed him and out we went.
I was up and down those steps, live on the second floor, for weeks.
But I only wanted him to potty outdoors. That is what I am use too. All my dogs went outdoors. OH and a helpful hint from my daughter's trainer,
each and every time he potty's outside give him a piece of liverwurst, very
tiny piece and they love it. It has to be something they never get indoors.
WHen he was trained I stopped it. Just very small pieces to give them the flavor and they want it they get used to looking for it and want to go outdoors. Good luck, persistance is key.
