They spayed Sukoshi first thing in the morning, and I picked her up at 4:00 that afternoon. There's NO WAY I would've left her overnight! She was spayed and had 10 teeth pulled at the same time (she had two complete rows of top teeth because her baby teeth didn't fall out when the adult teeth came in behind them), and I wanted her home to cuddle. She wimpered like I've never heard before, so I know she was in pain from the spay, but it only lasted that first night (thank goodness), and she seemed much better after that. I gave her soft food that night because I figured her gums hurt, but she gobbled up her kibble the next morning, not waiting for me to get some more wet food prepared for her, so I guess her gums weren't hurting her at all. She was also ready to chase the cats after the first day or so, and I had to keep her separated from them to keep her calm like instructed. I know it's hard, but I'm sure she'll come through fine, and she'll be a happy little girl in a day or two. Give her lots of extra kisses from her YT family!
