I couldn't leave Misha by herself. I brought home Piper afterwards also. I wasn't sure what I was getting into since she was so out of it. But it was no different taking care of friends that had outpatient surgery. I helped her go potty, picking her up & putting her on the pee pad. I gave her pain meds also, it helped with the pain that night along with keeping her quiet for a few days after to heal. Everytime Misha would move she would whimper a little. I just told her it was ok, mommy was here. When I could tell the whimper was a pain sound I gave her pain meds the vet gave me.
