Don't worry. It won't do either of you any good and the baby will feel the tension once you get her home.

Find something to occupy your time. I went shopping after we dropped Ozzie off and then did stuff around the house the rest of the day to make sure he would be very comfy. (changed his bed, scrubbed the kitchen down, put down a clean liner for his papers, pureed food, etc.) I didn't go to work. I knew I'd be worthless there until I knew he was OK.)

I know how you feel and empathize, but it will be over before you know it. Good luck and keep us posted.
