So, so sorry for the loss of your dear baby. This is a classic example of why having a top-notch vet is SO important. Unfortunately, we often don't know how lacking our caretakers are until something like this occurs.
But your baby suffers no more. As much as you will miss her, I can't imagine that watching her suffer would have been pleasant for you or for her.
