 Update
I spoke with Krysten and she had gotten a couple cards and a pin which she loves. Her spirits were better, considering I had spent close to an hour on the phone with her a few nites ago while she just cried. I didn't know that she was also not getting paid for her nanny job and the people she is staying with are fighting. She has been getting migraines from her meds and the stress and can't go to the Dr's because she is so broke. Nobody will accept her insurance down there so she can't get her med's adjusted or changed. She can't get another job or she loses her place to stay. I offered to send some money but she refused (which was good for me, because at the moment there is nothing to send). She wants to do this on her own. She called he brother who owes her Big Time for standing her up once and calling her once to see if she would pick him up from whereever he was and help him go find his Hummer. That happen's alot on golfing vacations, lol. He told her to just tell him what she wants for grad. and it's hers. So she asked to borrow some $. But she wouldn't give an amount. So he is sending her some today. She can't even pay for her cap and gown. She has to stay after grad. for a couple weeks to get the enrollment in college done, then she can come home, hopefully. Meanwhile, her struggle continues, but the cards are helping. Thank you, all. |
