 Boo-boo Update
Hi Everyone
Sorry for not updating you all yesterday, but I got home very late in the evening as it is around 4 hour drive to The University where my Boo-Boo had his surgery. We went there at 10 am and they did all the test pre-op and they took him in the surgery at 1 pm. They only spoke to us at 4:30pm to let us kknow how he is. I don't really know the medical terms, but they did like an exploratory surgery and they said that Boo-Boo does not have a liver shunt but he is suspected to have MVD, or another liver disease. They took a biopsy of his liver and the results will be in either thursday or friday. He woke up ok from the anesthetic(which was what i FEAR most) and he ate just a couple of hours after coming out. He kept all the food in as well. The vet called me in the evening once I reached home as well and the reason beeing is that I have asked him to neuter him before Boo-Boo went in but they said they might not have enaugh time. But when Simon the vet called they said they neutered him as well b/c they could not find a liver shunt to close so they had enaugh time which is good as I was so afraid of them oppening him up again.But so far so good. Will keep you updated once the vet will call again. But tomorrow my hubby and I have the day off work and go to visit our lil baby boy.
