You know what? I am glad you posted this. It was 96 here yesterday. Izzy was not acting right and I was guessing it was the heat. She is usually running and always trying to chase Cody - who is always trying to avoid her
and yesterday she was just laying around. I did think maybe she was to hot. I even gave her some NutriCal cause I was worried.
I am thinking of doing some sort of summer cut for her. Do you guys think that helps to keep them cooler? She is only 5 months old and her fur is BLACK AND THICK. I am trying to let it grow long, but after yesterday I am thinking of a shorter cut. How do you suggest grooming a yorkie for summer? Specific type of cut I should mention to the groomer???
