I think it was irresponsible for you to leave a condom sitting in the trash. Nonetheless, maybe you can learn a lesson from this. Flush it, it's more sanitary!
By the way you said it, it doesn't seem like you care much for the dog simply because it isn't yours. But you made a mistake and you have to fix it. Even if the dog isn't yours doesn't mean that you can shrug it off. There is a lot of bacteria, lubricant and things that are potentially hazardous to a dog. Regardless of whether he pooped it out or not, I think you should take him to the vet and pay for it.
And if you cannot do that, atleast tell your Aunt. She deserves to know. It's just an accident. Or are you afraid to tell her it was a condom that he swallowed?
Whatever it is, taking him to the vet and telling your aunt is the RIGHT thing to do..but ultimately it's up to you if you want to do the right thing or not. |
