[Gracie2006]

After reading about poor Zackie, I suddenly became fearful about the safety of my deck. It is about 6-7 feet off the ground. There is a gap of about 5-6 inches between the railing and the decking. It would be all too easy for Gracie to fall off the deck. What would you suggest I do to make it safe for her to be out on the deck off leash? I was thinking about stapling some window screening or chicken wire to the bottom of the railing to help fill in that gap. It needs to be something easily removed in the event the home owner's association wants to refinish the deck or something.
