i left my cat at my moms house when i moved out (cats dont do well relocating) and after i lost my golden retriever my cat was my main cuddle buddy, when i got toby she was PISSED!!! She saw his presence as a threat to her new "first place" position in my llife...... well, i ALWAYS take toby with me to my moms house and it only took my cat a couple weeks to actually go up and sniff (and rub her head against him..lol...
) so they get along, but keep in mind that my yorkie is 4 months old and my cat is 9 or 10 ...... my cat doesnt really take nicely to a yorkie baby STANDING on her, so she sometimes swats or hisses at him when she has had enough.... but she would never actually hurt him.......
