hi, so my 5 month old yorkie had a really bad upper respiratory infection a few days after we brought her home and ended up in the vet for 3 days because of low blood sugar because she wasnt eating well. This was a month ago and she is doing much better but I still worry. So my question is...she is still a finicky eater but does eat on her own and I always have food out for her...however i notice sometimes after she first wakes up and at other random times her tongue is slightly pale...i know this may be a sign of low blood sugar...but I feel like i am doing everything possible...ie she always has food avail and when she doesnt want to eat her food i cook for her... i give her nutrical as needed after hard plays or stressful times...
and she never acts like she is lethargic or sleepy so...i just wondered if there was anything else i should be doing or am i just worried about nothing?
