My Skampi had his first round of shots three days ago aged 10 and a half weeks. His reaction was terrible, he was screaming in pain every time I touched him, I picked him up & he howled in agony & tried to bite me...he was very lethargic & unhappy. I rang the vet, they said it was a normal reaction in a toy breed dog, they give the same amount of vaccine to a little yorkie as they do a great dane. This crying in pain when I touched him lasted a good 28 hours...he is recovered now. Second shots due in three weeks, I'm seriously considering not having them or having any boosters. Looking into homeopathy at the moment. I've done a lot of research into vaccine damage and there are many who believe one shot gives immunity for life and it's the yearly booster that does the most damage. I've given Skampi Thuja and flaxseed oil to boost his immunity. |
