 Injured Dew Claw
My furbaby was running around in the yard today and it looks like his dew claw got caught on something because it broke and is now hanging on the side of his paw. It isn't bleeding heavily so I applied some neosporin. I was panicking a bit so I called the 24 vet in my area and he said it should be fine until I see my vet on Monday. I was just a bit concerned because this is the second time his dew claw broke. He is going to be 2 years old tommorrow, I feel bad he has to be in pain on his special day, and when I got him at 6 months old he had his dew claws. Can anything be done to remove them now or is it too late? I will ask the vet on Monday but wanted to hear some feedback before then. |
