It's funny that this thread came back up, Cuz last night my husband and I were outside with Winston, and this HUGE hawk type bird, just soared down, and I swear it was aiming for Winston. Well I ran out in the yard and grabbed him, and the bird flew away, but it made me think of this. Cuz I answered, "yes" but only a few minutes at a time...just imagine what could have happened in "a few minutes", I was scared to death. So now I want to change my answer to NO NEVER. I really thought before this, that my yard was safe for him, totally fenced in, and in town only 1 house away from the Main Street with great neighbors. But who'd of thought this humongous bird would be there...not me.
