That is very strange that you can't do a search for constipation here. I wonder if there's something wrong with the search feature.

How old is your dog? If he's not geriatric, most things I've read say the causes are diet and/or exercise related. Increase his level of exercise and examine his diet. As for a quick fix, I too have heard canned pumpkin is good. Probably worth a call to the vet too.
