Saran Wrap sure does work for "collecting"........Here's one for ya: When my oldest son was about 5 years old, he accidentally swallowed a silver friendship ring. When I called the doctor, he told me that I would need to check his bowel movements to make sure that the ring passed through him alright. AAAAAaaaaarrrrrrrghhhh. Kid was so upset he couldn't poop for three days on the little kids potty I gave him.
Saran Wrap to the rescue! I cut a nice big sheet of it and floated it in the toilet, letting it cling to the sides. Then all I had to do was gather up the 4 corners and, ah, feel around from the outside for the ring. Not pleasant. After a week, we had to x-ray.....and then again a week later.....another x-ray to show the ring progressing every so slowly. FINALLY!
Now I tell you this awful story (more than you wanted to know), but the Saran really does kind of disappear and children and dogs don't realize it's there. Maybe you could tape some on top of a pee pad (I'd cover the whole pad), and leave her alone in a bathroom or exercise pen in the yard? |
