Wouldn't that make it the second heat after having Tobie....since she is waiting until October.
I think that since Tobie will still be young, he will enjoy having another puppy to play with. You are right, by that time, Tobie will be even more settled (and like you said, neutered) so that will help, too. I say,"GO FOR IT!" because you will and Tobie will have fun with a baby running around.
