Our papasan cushions are a chocolate brown microfiber type (I think it's a polyester), so it's a soft material (although not as fluffy as fleece). I'd be cool with anything that you thought coordinated, but probably a solid would work better than a pattern, and the cats would love a fuzzy fleece type. If you could find the paw print material in a white with
brown or tan paws instead of the black, that would be PERFECT, but I won't hold my breath. I trust you, so just use your judgement. If you can't find a dark brown, a tan would work as well, so we can have contrasting colors. I would also prefer to throw it in the washer, but if you find "the perfect" material that isn't washable, I can work with that. The cats are jealous of Sukoshi having 4 beds and me constantly telling them "that's not your bed - get out", so they will LOVE having their own beds for once! Right now, they just cuddle together in the 1 bed we have for them. Yes, I know, Sukoshi's spoiled...
