 Alyssa and thunder
My Alyssa is scared to death of thunder. She hears it long before we ever hear it and either starts growling or barking while pacing around in the house. We know it is about to come a storm just from her behavior. Between the barkings she will come to me and try to be close to my body. My Emmy barks just because Alyssa is barking. She has no clue why she is barking and is not afraid of thunder. Alyssa also brings her favorite toys and will put them close to me. I guess she feels like I am the protector and her toys need protection too. I can only imagine what she must go through when it storms and I am not home. |
