 I think Molly got bit by a snake!!!
Earlier today , around 4pm., I let the girls out in our fenced in area to potty. I heard all this crazy barking going on (which they do all the time so I didn't run out there too quick)
When I went out, Macey and Molly were going crazy barking and looking in one direction. I walked closer to see and there was a HUGE gardener sanke there, kinda in a sitting up position.
I herded everyone back into the house real quick. Went back out and tried to scare this thing away. I got it out of the fence by it kept trying to come back in and then ended up going out by my Koi pond. It didn't try to lunge at me , it was scared of me and went away from me.
I know they aren't poisonus but do they have teeth???
I just noticed tonight on Molly's nose she has what looks like a bite. Like a "L" shaped tear in her nose! I mean ANYTHING could have happened, but the 1st thing I though of was that damn snake!!!
Do you think????!!!!
She's acting perfectly fine and showing no signs of any distress, but I know nothing about snakes and if a Gardner snake bites!!!! |
