My cousin was in an accident a few days ago. We are really close to the whole family. We just saw her sunday. Her husband is a pastor and she was coming back from a youth convention with her 15 year old daughter when a drunk driver slammed into their car. Her daughter was treated for shock but is otherwise alright. However her mom isn't doing well. She is in critical condition. There is swelling in her brain and they really need to opperate but can't yet because she is so unstable. The doctor gave her a 50/50 chance but said she is barely hanging on by a thread.
She has 4 beautiful kids, her 14 year old daughter being the oldest.
Why does this always happen to such great people? It just makes me so mad that some people are so irresponsible to drink and drive!!
I hope the driver gets a heavy sentence and realizes how much pain he has caused!!
So please pray that she recovers and makes it through this with no real problems. I can't even imagine how hard it would be for the kids to lose their mother at such a young age. The youngest one doesn't even completely understand what is going on, all she knows is that her mom is in the hospital and she wants to see her really bad.
