I actually thought this was a little crazy at the time, because my friend and her husband loved that dog! However, my brother owned a Rott and he trained him and he also had him trained and the dog one day, up and attacked a horse. Then he had to have the dog put down. How much FUN is THAT!!! I don't like these breeds personally, because I don't ever want an animal that I cannot control. Besides that, I don't understand why anyone would want an animal with the potential to kill!?! These little yorkies are small and lovable and brave, but NOT VIOLENT - EVER!!! Atleast not any that I've ever heard of or had.
I am only trying to help her, obviously she is trying to get around her husband's want of a potentially violent animal. Especially with a small child in the home! I am only passing on information, not trying to make this a "sticky" subject!
IT WOULD BE SO NICE IF YOU COULD BOTH GET WHAT YOU WANT, BUT I WOULDN'T GIVE IN TO THIS ONE!!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND I HOPE YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND WORK THIS OUT!!! |
dont u just love it when people say no offense intended and then say something completly mean. . I had a pittbull and that dog was the biggest sweetheart. and my little cousin had to get STITCHES because a yorkie attacked him. thats right, a yorkie. just because they are small doesnt mean they arent dogs. and all dogs have the potential to hurt and kill. With the same love & training that we give our yorkies, pitts, rotties ect.. can be amazing pets.
If a dog that has been kept on a chain outside all its life with no socialization. wether is a 4 pound yorkie, or a 100 pound rottweiler, it has GREAT potential to do harm. I could control my pitt, and i know many friends with rotties, ect.. who have control over there dogs.
but how many small dog owners do you see who have never taught there dog ANYTHING?! Those little dogs that yap and nip and are running around, and people think its "cute" until that lil dog hurts someone. how do you feel when people say yorkies are yappy or rats?!
when i was 12, i ran away from home with my dog. and got lost around miami, well a man came up and tried to grab me, my dog gave him a bark, a growl (a fair warning) but only when i started to scream did he bite him. that dog saved my life. we ran home and when i got home i found out about the murderer on the loose, i dont know if the man was him but eether way, my pitt saved my life. I saved her from a dog fighting facility as a puppy, and she saved my life.
Nothing pisses me off more than people judging pitts on media attention and bad raps.
