Hefner usually settles down early with my youngest daughter around 9:30 or ten. He loves his sleep. He doesn't really wake up until 9 am or so and he eats about 10.
Chai sleeps less and has to play really hard at night to "wind down" She and Hefner usually race around the bedroom and under the bed. I am always paranoid one of them is going to bonk their head on the bed frame. It is solid wood.
Chai stays with me at the computer or wherever I am doing chores until I go to bed or she goes to bed with her mommy, my 17 year old, Amy.
I always have Hefner in bed at night and sometimes Chai and sometimes my westie and, if my oldest daughter is home with Buddha, he may be there too!
