Okay, I'm home for lunch so I looked up the meds - Metronidazole and Panacur.

As for the homecooking, I started off very bland - white & brown rice (I use a rice cooker), boiled chicken (no seasonings, chopped up small), and green beans, carrots & peas (ground up). Oh, and yogurt every day.

Later I started using different veggies, adding cottage cheese to their yogurt, switching out the chicken with ground turkey, adding egg, sardines w/ bones, liver, etc. and giving them fruit (fresh/dried) and veggies as snacks. I picked up a food processor and it makes preparing their meals so much easier. I also give them a good vitamin/mineral supplement, digestive enzymes and omega 3 & 6. I buy most of it online from onlynaturalpet.com.

Hope that helps!
