I wa thinking about this when I got up this morning. I wake up every morning to Hallie licking my face or pawing at my head to rub her belly and every morning I sit up in bed, rub her belly, help Simon stretch, rub his belly too and 10-15 min. later we all get out of bed, stagger to the coffee pot, they walk to the window to see what's new outside since the night before as I get ready for work. That's the morning........

At bedtime it is always the same. Usually they fall asleep on the couch while I'm watching tv or chatting on YT or both! I get up turn the tv off, brush my teeth and by the time I'm out of the bathroom they are both in bed waiting for me. I get into bed, Simon rolls over for me to rub his belly and Hallie scoots her way under my pillow to play peek-a-boo. THis lasts for 10-15 min/ too and then we all fall asleep.

Every night the same snuggly routine. Do you all do this with your dogs too?
