Hi everyone,
sorry for posting late but just been busy with bear. since he wasn't eating i called the vet and made an appointment, we did a blood work again and it shows that kidney was damaged. i dont have paperwork with me but it said for normal yorkie it is 21.5 or something...and his was 120 something...not exactly sure but it was very bad and she said i would have to do IV on him or else he will have heart failure. Then yesterday my girlfriend's mom took him to other vet and he says that the medication that vet put him on was too much for him and if he was any longer on it, he would've died. So basically the vet gave me wrong or strong medicine for bear that could've killed him. Since the second blood work she kept on calling me to check on him so i thought she was being nice and worrying about bear but in fact she was worrying about herself so she cant get in trouble. The medicine that messed up bear's kidneys was FUROSEMIDE. So tomorrow i am gonna call her and give her piece of my mind. But as of right now bear is doing fine! |
