But can't mosquitoes transfer Rabies??? That is the only thing I can think of that would effect mainly indoor dogs/animals. But advantix claims to repel mosquitoes so I guess you could also prevent that too....hmmmmm
I vaccinated my oldest ferret once, then after discussing it with my Vet, he didnt com eout and say dont vac the second at all and stop with the older one but he hinted around to it and seemed okay with me not doing it....I mean if he is the one treating them and handling them at risk of getting bit when they get REALLY mad at him....you'd think he would suggest the vac if he felt at risk....and they did go for walks and were exposed to outdoors in summer. No advantix either they used cats frontline plus (1/2 doses).
