 Hey there.
When my son was three years old and my oldest was five years old my parents got them a Golden Retriever. Nick had severe allergies to him. We did our homework and We got our first Yorkie. He's ten now and he has a cotton coat. Nick was fine with him. We now have five (Yes five) and no allergies at all to any of them. Nick is also severely allergic to cats. I hope this helps in easing your BF's parent's concerns. On that note though, the only dog truly hyper allergetic is a Poodle. This is what I've been told at least. Best of luck. Elaine |
