ok, last friday we switched nugget over to dry food. he really loved the wet food, as he would eat everything in his bowl and lick it clean. on the wet food you could also tell that his stomach was full if you touched it. we switched him over to the dry food and the bag says for puppys his age to feed them a full cup. this seems like way to much food for a 3lb dog so we gave him about a half cup to start off. he ate about a forth of it. lately he has only been eating about a 1/4 cup twice a day, with a treat here and there for rewards. is this not enough for him? it doesnt seem like his belly fills up as much. maybe he just fills up quicker on the dry food? we try feeding him a lunch but he never eats it. hes normally hungry when we wake up and around the time we eat dinner. is this normal? should we try different food? thanks for everyones help!
