I must say that until the past couple of years I had not heard much about rabies in our area, but this year already there have been about 6 cases of rabid skunks found near us. I was very watchful about taking our recent litter of puppies outside even though we have a fence. They have recently received their rabies shots so I feel a little better about it now. It is a very scary disease. |
