It wasn't until my daughter became an elementary teacher that I really understood how hard public school teachers work!!!

I teach nursing and when we have people who come into teaching for the first time - they ALWAYS say that they had no idea how difficult and how time consuming teaching is. Of course, bedside nursing is extremely demanding and I am in no way saying that teaching is as demanding - but - people have no idea of the time and effort that goes into teaching (anything) until they have to do it.
