I have a 6 year old that has bad allergies as well. I give her benadryl and I keep hot spot spray meds. on hand. It helps with the biting and itching, you need to a soothing shampoo. Aveno really helps. Make sure you get all the soap out her hair.
Keep one thing in mind even after the allergies stop she will have scabs that will need to heal. One flea bite will start it all over again.
