Kennaan is turning one year soon, he was neutered when he was 5 or 6. This new dog, we just got yesterday, is not neutered or anything. Like you said, Kennaan is calmer but he gets worked up when the new dog tries to hump him. Kennaan does hump his toys sometimes, and at one time he got sexual pleasure out of doing it, even though he's neutered. So I suspect, given enough time Kennaan could've also started the humping. But as it happened, he didn't.
