I'm very particular...should I attend dog shows in Michigan or are there other ways???

Sorry if I sound totally stupid...but I probably am.
Locating a perfect stud is not an easy quest. It's not as easy as advertising.

Attending dog shows in Michigan may but, most likely won't help, as show breeders don't stud out publicaly and if they do it's usually to other show breeders owning females that are Championed or with very strong Championship lines. They are very particular too. Requirements and stud fees are rather stiff.
