Everything I read before I got my baby girl said to wait at least until 10 weeks, and that 12 weeks was ideal. Is the Mom on-site with the puppies? If so, I'd make sure she stays there until she's 12 weeks, but if the mom isn't with the puppies anymore anyway, then I guess it won't make much difference if you bring her home earlier.
