$700 seems a little low, but then again I live in California where Yorkies pretty much start at $1500-ish.
Questions to ask:
Who will be taking care of the dog?
Where will you keep the puppy during the day, and during the night?
Is the puppy going to be left alone for the majority of the day?
Have you owned a dog before?
Do you have children/other pets?
Do you have allergies?
Will the dog be an indoor or outdoor dog?
Have you ever given a pet away (to the shelter) or had to return it to the breeder? If so, why?
Do you intend to breed the dog?
Will you spay/neuter the dog?
