I agree with this statement. She should be treated the same as the average person, not worse or better.
I too can't stand drunk drivers though & think there should be harsher punishements. There is a guy i work with that has 3DUI & has totalled 2 cars. Thank God he never killed anyone, but he easy could have. He takes no responsibility for it. He claims it will happen to me, like someone forces you to drink & drive. He now has his license permanently suspended & was on house arrest for 6months after his 3rd indictiment, but never served any time actually in jail.
